Our Origins
Our directors bring decades of expertise in Australia's vocational and higher education industries, specialising in areas such as Law, Compliance, Governance, and more.
In 2018, recognising the potential for digital advancement in education, they collaborated on a concept and created Formee Express—a global admissions processing database with AI features.
The platform's user-friendly design stems from extensive observation, research, and surveys, ensuring a highly effective solution.

Professor Anona Armstrong
Chair, Non-Executive DirectorAn emeritus Professor at the Victoria University College of Law & Justice, Anona holds a Doctorate in Philosophy and a Graduate Diploma in Public Policy from the University of Melbourne. She is also a past president, fellow and life member of the Australian Evaluation and a fellow of the Australian Psychological Society, the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Victorian Council Institute of Public Administration Australia. She was elected a life fellow of Clare Hall, Cambridge University in 2005 and was invested with the Member of the Order of Australia in 2008. Professor Armstrong has published over 20 books and supervised over 60 postgraduate students. Her research interests are governance, evaluation and ethics.
Professor Adela McMurray
Non-Executive DirectorA Professor of Management, HRM and Innovation at Flinders University. In addition, Professor McMurray is an Honorary Professor of RMIT, and previously held senior leadership roles including Professor Mentor (RMIT), Director of Entrepreneurship (RMIT), Director of Corporate Relations (Monash), Director of MBA Research Projects (Swinburne), amongst others. She has been a Visiting Professor with world renowned universities including the University of Oxford and the University of Bath. She is recognised as a leading international researcher with over 360 publications addressing organisational development and innovation management. An expert in the higher education industry, Adela makes for an esteemed advisory for the board.
Samli Ozturk
Non-Executive DirectorAn esteemed Lawyer, specialising in Property Law and Conveyancing, Wills and Estates, Commercial and Business Law, Dispute Resolution and Litigation. He studied his Bachelor’s degree in Law at La-Trobe and soon after completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice in 2012. Samli drives the legal strategy at Formee Express.
Michael Plehan
Non-Executive DirectorAn experienced Financial Controller, Business Strategist and Management Consultant, having operated in various professional industries. As a CPA Public Practitioner, he offers valuable insight into advanced financial and business strategies which drive Formee Express’ expansion.
Zubair Dawood
Non-Executive DirectorAn experienced Director and Chartered Accountant with a demonstrated history of 15+ years working in the accounting industry. Mr Dawood is skilled in Board Advisory Services, Tax Planning, Cash Flow, Budgeting, Tax Preparation, Internal Audit, and Analytical Services. He is a strong professional with a Bachelor of Business, a Bachelor of Computing focused in Accounting and Finance from Monash University, and a qualified Chartered Accountant.including the University of Oxford and the University of Bath. She is recognised as a leading international researcher with over 360 publications addressing organisational development and innovation management. Azeezur Rahaman
Founding & Executive DirectorA true entrepreneur, Azeezur owns and operates multiple entities in the vocational and higher education industry in Australia; hence the concept for Formee Express was born from his experience. With two Masters’ degrees in IT disciplines, Azeezur is a well rounded advisor to brands in the broader EdTech industry and Formee Express specifically. He oversees and maintains the financial viability of Formee Express assets and creates strategic alliances to grow the brand’s global influence.

Officially BornJanuary 2020Formee Express achieved a significant milestone by completing its official business registration in Australia. In July 2020, we established our first offices in Melbourne, solidifying our commitment to success in the Australian market.
